Me as a coach
I bring over 15 years of personal running experience and several years of hands-on coaching to the table. I’m a certified running coach and studied Sports Science at a university in the UK, where I focused on:
- Coaching methods
- Biomechanics
- Anatomy & physiology
- Sport psychology
- Nutrition
My focus is on long-distance running, from 5 km to a marathon. I combine science-backed training with real-life coaching experience to help you reach your goals without burning out or losing joy in the process.
My coaching philosophy:
- Every runner is different. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan. We’ll find what works for you.
- Progress takes time. Good things come with consistency, patience, and smart training.
- Enjoy the process. Training is challenging — but it should be fun, too.
- Team effort. You’re not doing this alone. I’m here to guide, support, and adapt as you go.
- Empowerment through knowledge. I don’t just coach you — I help you understand your training.

reviews
“I’ve been working with Hanna for quite some time now. Not only have I achieved my goals, but I’ve also learned an enormous amount along the way. The sessions are varied enough to be both developing and suitably challenging. I’ve gained more speed, strength and structure in my training.” – P.K.
“The sessions and pace/heart rate zones are clearly explained, which has brought more consistency to my training. My technique has improved and become stronger, especially thanks to the thorough warm-ups. The training is varied, appropriately challenging, and I’ve learned much. My running now feels more confident. Communication is easy and encouraging.” – L.J.
“Working with Hanna has had a clear impact on my running. I’ve had coaching before, but often felt left on my own with the plan. Now I have a programme that not only focuses on training, but also takes into account the demands of everyday life, all topped off with positive feedback and a warm, supportive approach.” – J.M.
“At first, I wondered whether a ‘regular’ runner would really benefit from coaching, but absolutely yes, especially when I no longer have to stress about planning my own sessions. The feedback is encouraging and helpful. I can really see the coach’s expertise, and I always get a response to my questions.” – A.M.
